Black Stars coach Appiah
named 4th best in Africa
Black
stars coach Kwesi Appiah has been named the fourth best national team coach in
Africa with Nigeria’s Stephen Keshi topping the poll for coaches on the
continent.
The
Ghanaian tactician is also the second African coach on the list compiled by coaching
rating agency, Football Coach World Ranking.
The
firm listed the Black Stars coach in the 42nd position while Keshi
took the 23rd position globally.
Equatorial
Guinea coach, Michel Dussuyer is ranked 2nd in Africa and 29th
globally while Algeria national team coach Vahid Halilhodžić is ranked 41st
on the world ranking and 3rd in Africa.
The
list was compiled last month and published on the agency’s official website.
Spain
coach Vicente Del Bosque topped the poll and was followed by Germany boss
Joachim Loew with Uruguay boss Oscar Tabarez in third position.
Coach
Kwesi Appiah managed to finish ahead of France coach Laurent Blanc, Didier
Deschamps and Dick Advocaat, former Zambia coach Herve Renard, Claude Le Roy,
Guus Hiddink amongst other notable coaches.
